My Actifit Report Card: January 27 2026
Another chilly day hiking high up along Lynx Creek for a few hours prospecting on the icy creek.
The thermometer was only around 22 degrees at the creek so the 2 mile hike down the hillside and along the creek ravine was hard but it helped to warm me up for the hours of digging.
Not much gold for all my work but the time under the sunny skies and quiet forest was worth the chill and heavy lifting (plus Lulu had a great time as usual).
My legs were tired so the hike really had me panting as the trail wound around the forest then over a mile grind back up to the road (with a heavy pack on my back).
Lulu and I wrapped things up with a relaxing walk around the area. Nice to stretch my legs and hopefully I'll feel good for a run tomorrow.
