My Actifit Report Card: January 6 2026

Nice to have a mild and sunny day for an easy loop through the neighboring areas on the road and some city recreational paths for a total of 4 and a half miles.

It was a bit frosty when we went out for our morning walk but the sun was shining and illuminating the surrounding mountains with a beautiful golden light. Lulu kept up a quick pace so the walk was decent cardio.
My run was only a couple of hundred feet of climb so it was easy to maintain a decent 10 minute pace the whole way (plus no rocky spots to trip me up).
I'm still trying to determine if I want to compete in the Jackpot ultra in 5 weeks or wait until late summer or autumn - just have to see how my endurance is in a few weeks.
Probably a day down at Lynx Creek tomorrow so just hiking instead of running.
