My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2026
March has arrived with bright sun and temperatures rising to 80 degrees when I headed up to Sedona for a hike in the red rocks country.

Unfortunately the beautiful weather and a Sunday meant that the trail parking areas were packed so Lulu and I headed down a few miles to the Page Springs state fish hatchery for a hike around the area and some relaxation time by Oak Creek.

The hatchery was empty of other visitors as we climbed up under the trees and walked along a smooth dirt service road for about a half mile before having to turn around and head back.
Then it was an easy hike along Oak Creek and the scrubby woods around the hatchery.

Plenty of birds to keep us company along with several fishermen in the creek trying their luck at hooking a trout or two. Lulu was busy exploring and checking out all of the new sights and smells.
It it good after we covered almost 3 miles and then relaxed back at the hatchery for a drink and snack before calling it a day.

Might head back to Lynx Creek tomorrow or perhaps a hike up on Mingus Mountain instead.
Have a good night my Actifit friends.
