My Actifit Report Card: March 26 2026
Once again it was a hot and tiring day as forest fires in the northern hills spread a thick smokey haze over the Cottonwood valley and made the air quality poor.
Still I managed an ok 4 mile loop in the heat so that was a positive note. 
This early season hot weather isn't very conducive to exercise and the smokey air is a negative as well so my pace has been slower than I would like but we'll be in much cooler and nicer western South Dakota soon.
A more enjoyable 3 mile loop on the Jail Trail along the Verde River in the early evening with Lulu was a good end to the day.
