I believe that many loves have been marked by the times in which they were lived, in the societies or cultures in which they developed, and this is no exception. In Chopin's case, there are still dark areas about his sexuality, and in Sand's case, there is always talk about his manly behavior. Finally, at least companionship and care could be given for a time and serve as inspiration for the works that we have the joy today to enjoy.
