I was born in Prampelan village on the slope of Mount Sumbing, its position is at the top and there is no more village on it. at the back of the house I can see the statue of Mount Sumbing which stood firmly and in front of the house, from the far seen mountain range Merapi, Merbabu and Andong mountain.

my experience of climbing the cleft is still small, only once or twice, first climbing time with my friends from aceh during my work vacation, the time of climbing the streets is not a hindrance because the road is the usual road used by the villagers to take grass and wood.

climbing Mount Sumbing can go through several climbing path, Need line, Prampelan, Mangli, Garung, Bowongso and so on. Preparation Path is probably not as famous as Need track. this path presents a very beautiful scenery and become a path with climbing path Need and Mangli before getting to the top.

before the summit we are treated to beautiful scenery and collection of flowers Adelwis often called the flower of immortality.

Up at the top there is the entrance made of stone, often called Watu Lawang a kind of stone pile that looks like the entrance. steep roads must be passed with extra care to down Watu Lawang.

When we descend to the crater, there is a vast grassland or savannah, grass growing hordes to the Marmei Tugu.

then there is the Tomb and is often used as a place of shirk, have I found a photo of a girl there, for what? You know better.

There is Segoro Wedi or a sea of ​​sand, a vast place like an ordinary field made to write our name or the name of Nature lovers. around this place there are several caves, including the Milk Cave.

Most interesting is the Smoke Crater is smoke that spurts from the peak rocks, this place is often called Segoro Wedang .
