In my attempt to help you make that mind shift we will seek the help of a wise man that lived hundreds of years ago whose teachings are great. His Name is Confucius. Who was Confucius?
Confucius ( September 28, 551 – 479 BC) was a Chinese teacher, editor, politician, and philosopher of the Spring and Autumn period of Chinese history.The philosophy of Confucius emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity. His followers competed successfully with many other schools during the Hundred Schools of Thought era only to be suppressed in favor of the Legalists during the Qin Dynasty. Following the victory of Han over Chuafter the collapse of Qin, Confucius’s thoughts received official sanction and were further developed into a system known as Confucianism. Confucius is traditionally credited with having authored or edited many of the Chinese classic texts including all of the Five Classics, but modern scholars are cautious of attributing specific assertions to Confucius himself. Aphorisms concerning his teachings were compiled in the Analects, but only many years after his death. Confucius’s principles had a basis in common Chinese tradition and belief. He championed strong family loyalty, ancestor worship, respect of elders by their children and of husbands by their wives. He also recommended family as a basis for ideal government. He espoused the well-known principle “Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself”, the Golden Rule(More on Confucius)

1. Everything has beauty But not everyone sees it.
   Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is something I always say. Everything on this planet earth is fascinating and has beauty, no matter how small, strange, odd or even ugly it might look. It are the small things in life actually that make up the bigger things in life. these small things are very important as well and can make a huge difference in Your Life. for example if you are 1 penny or 1 dollar short of a billion you will not be named A Billionaire, because being a billionaire means that you own 1 billion dollars but you are 1 penny or one dollar short. That alone disqualifies a person. So cherries the small things in life and try to find the beauty in everything.
2. Our Greatest Glory Is not In Never Falling But in Rising In Every time We Fall.
   To Fail Is Actually an Honour. If you never fail you will never learn. Don’t be afraid to fall. the important thing here to remember is to always get up and learn from it. If you do that you will be wise.
3. Learning without thought is labour Lost, Thought Without Learning Is Perilous.
   Always try to put your heart in learning something. many of us study for or exams and tests but we forget about it right after the test. That is not a good thing. All the effort you made the whole night was for nothing.
4. When You Know A Thing, To Hold That You Know It; And When You Do Not Know A Thing, To Allow That You Do Not Know It… This Is Knowledge.
   Simply said, you know what you know and you will be able to transfer it to others with ease, but if you do not know something, Do not try to or do not act as if you know it. that is a dangerous thing to do. Simply tell the person you do not know and find out together what you want to know. in this way you will gain knowledge. Nobody Knows Everything.
5. I Hear And I Forget, I See And I Remember, I Do And I Understand.
   Experience is the best teacher. If you Really want to understand something Do it. Seeing and hearing don’t really match up to the activity of actually experiencing it.
6. If I Am Walking With Two Other Men, Each Of Them Will Serve As My Teacher. I Will Take Out The Good Points In The One And Imitate Them And The Bad Points In The Other And Correct Them In Myself.
   You can actually become a better person by learning from you Well- Wishers, Idols and Roll-models as well as from People that criticize you and set a bad example. The one simply shows you what to do and the other simply shows you what not to do.
7. Never Contract Friendship With A Man That Is Not Better Than Yourself.
   Association is a very important factor in life. Show me your friends and I shall tell ye who ye are. Always try to Contract friendship with people that actually help you build your future, not with people that destroy it.
8. It Does Not Matter How Slow You Go, As Long As You Keep On Going.
   Sometimes you start at something and you start enthusiastically, but as time passes you loose interest because things are a little slow and didn’t turn out as big as u thought it would. If you really want something never stop running towards it. If you walk from your house to the supermarket and the supermarket is 20 blocks away, it doesn’t matter how slow you go. If you stop you will never get there, but if you keep on walking doesn’t matter if it is step by step, Once you will reach there and get that sweet tasting chocolate bar you wanted. The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.
9. When It Is Obvious That The Goals Cannot Be Reached, Don’t Adjust The Goals Adjust The Action Steps.
   If you want something and it seems impossible, because you gave it your everything and you still did not get any results, don’t give up, check what you are doing wrong and correct it. In order to have something you never had, you would have to do something you never done.
10. Wherever You Go, Go With All Your Heart.
    This is a very important one. Where ever you go, Open your heart and let yourself free. If someone ask you to go somewhere accept it with all your heart. for example: if your parents ask you to go to the park with them. do not hesitate, do not get angry or feel shameful because you worry your friends will be there. go with all your heart and enjoy that time you have with them. They will not always be there, and when they are gone those moments you once had with them will put a warm smile on your face every time you think about it.
