The Diary Game: Going To Work And Attending Ibom Cultural Night (30/12/2025)

For real my friends, I am so happy to see a beautiful year and if I am to be honest, I am the most Happiest person today. When I woke up yesterday, I took my bath and then I went to work to go and attend to my customers that were waiting for me. I took this picture before leaving the house.

When I got to the shop, I saw only one person, that means the other two had left before I got to my workplace. I took my broom and began to sweep the place then I began to attend to my customer that was waiting for me. When I finished attending to him, I mopped the shop and did other sanitation.

When I finished cleaning up the shop, I took the new hose I bought from the market to come fix in my gas cylinder because the other one I had wasn't long enough. I took it and began to fix it and when I was done. I went and got some cash from few friends then I can back and did transactions.

After I finished, I went back to the house as I was so early to close for the day since I wanted to go to the Ibom Christmas Village show. I was so anxious because I haven't gone there before. When I got back to the house, I took my bath and then I went to bed because I was so tired on arriving the house.

As i got up from bed, I went to to the junction to buy banana and groundnut so that I can eat that for my lunch as I didn't prepare something. I was actually waiting for the next day so that I can cook something proper and eat, something that will take me till first of January. I got back home and peeled the banana and began to eat.

After eating, I washed the dirty dishes in the kitchen and went to the market to buy few things and come and keep so that 31st morning, I will just begin the cooking without having to go to the market again.

When I came back home, I took my bath again and went out, my daughter isn't home and it's been a whole lot of loneliness out here. I went there And my favourite DJ Bangcity was on the wheel of steel. He was giving the big vibes. I still remembered the last time I watched vibe barn live and it was the same experience I had but this time, it was physically.

After the dj finished with his performance, the big time Akwa Ibom indigenous artist, Ikpa Udo came in with an electrifying performance. He sang so many of his hit songs that has remained evergreen. The entire show lasted till 11pm, and I went back home because it was very late and I was even thinking if I will be able to see taxi back home.

When I left the place, to see taxi back home was another issue, I had to trek for very long distance before I could see taxi that was going my way then I paid for it and went back to the house. As I got back home, I was too tired that I shared my day on steemit before going to bed.
