Earlier, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AKICORP, Mr Imo-Abasi Jacob, announced the nomination of Mr Mfon Okon Essien for an award recognizing his consistent neatness and corporate dressing. He said the nomination would remain valid if the standard is maintained until the scheduled award presentation.Mr Jacob expressed optimism about AKICORP's trajectory, describing the Corporation as a family united in progress.
He added that the management remains confident that the Organisation's prayers for growth and stability have been answered. "We are seeing the fruits of our labor, and we are grateful to God for His guidance and provision," he said. Mr Jacob commended the leadership of the office fellowship for their consistency and drive to sustain the Corporation's spiritual momentum.
The Assistant Chief Information and Public Relations Officer, Mrs Elizabeth Johnny, delivered an exhortation, drawing her message from Numbers 13:16-33, 14:6-9. She urged staff to cultivate positive vision and faith, encouraging them to remain humble, focused, and prayerful in their duties. "As we seek to make a difference in our state, we must trust in God's guidance and provision," she said.
The prayer session featured prayers for AKICORP, its staff, the Governor, Akwa Ibom State, and Nigeria. The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agribusiness, Pastor Godwin Ukwat, took the benediction, praying for God's continued guidance and blessing on the Corporation.
