The Diary Game: How I Spent My Day At Work And The Struggle To Buy Fuel Because Of Blackout (24-03-2026)

Hello, my amiable steemit audience and friends hope you guys are having a fun fill day like always, I'm very glad excitement about my time been spent here with you guys so I will be sharing with you guys on how my days went. Today was somehow hectic because of the blackout we been experiencing for while now so I had get some fuel at filling station to enable me run the shop today.

Stepping out from the house

I woke up this morning feeling a bit down down, as always I needed to get set for work real quick because the weather wasn't friendly at all today, said my prayers real quick, brush my teeth, took my bath and after that I had to put on my clothes and I was set for work.

Inside keke as a means of Transport

Just 2 minutes walk from my house and I was at the bus stop waiting for the next available keke to enter which eventually I got one but the price was on a high side because of the increase in fuel price of recent. I had to bargain a little and we came to conclusion on the amount I will pay and I entered which he eventually took me to my destination.

Opening of my shop

I spent about 15 minutes inside the keke before arriving at my destination where will usually take 3 minutes walk to my work place. At about 8:00am this morning i was at work already and which I immediately opened the door and kick-start my day work.

As you can see from the picture attached to this post, I'm already seated and ready for my customers because I always make sure to be ready when ever my customers comes.

Breakfast at work

At about 10am this morning I was already feeling hungry so I step outside from my shop and beckon on the woman that sales food to bring some for me which under 5 minutes the food arrived.

At the filling station to buy fuel

Due to not so bright weather today, the solar inverter didn't charge enough to lead me through out the day, so about 3pm at noon today I had to rush down to the fuel station with my gallon to enable get fuel on time so the shop won't be in today blackout if the solar goes off.

Eventually gotten the fuel

After spending about 15 minutes buying the fuel at the filling station, I had to head back to shop real quick so that I can put on the generator which I did and my customers were happy for my prompt response to the situation.
