The Diary Game: A Busy Day In My Life As A Hair Stylist(23-12-2025)

I will take enough rest once I'm doing working this festive season, I have really given my best into work and I can feel the repercussion of not having enough rest in my body. Again, I was out early to the shop after doing my home chores in the morning when I woke up from sleep. Breakfast was made and before I went to the shop, I had filled my stomach with enough food because I don't know if I'll be chanced to have lunch when I get to the shop. My girl was already in the shop and had done the necessary set up and cleaning in the shop already so I walked in and prayed before calling my customer to come over that I'm in the shop.

When she arrived, we talked on the hairstyle she needed and I began work immediately. She was my first customer for the day and I handled her with care, within few hours I was done with the hair and she also bought some set of jewelries after making her hair. It wasn't long, another customer came in to retouch her hair and also groom her eyebrow and fix her lashes. All these jobs were done personally by me and bending over to fix her lashes wasn't an easy task but I still did it for the paper.

Everyone actually wants to look good tomorrow, it got to a point that I had to engage my apprentice too because only me couldn't handle all the services alone. I made knotless twist for a young lady who came for a session with us in the afternoon. That was the third hair I handled and I got really exhausted after that and went home by 5om to rest. On getting home, I found plantain that my kids remained and I used that ho hold my stomach while thinking of what to prepare.

I boiled water to make garri and eat and slowly, the gas went off. I took it out to the gas station close to my house and refilled 4kg which I think will last up to four weeks. I regtured home and made garri, warmed the soup I had in the fridge and ate. I took my bath after eating and went to my room to rest but my baby kept disturbing me that I got very annoyed and scolded at her to leave the room and go to her siblings. I was able to rest for more than an hour and I felt relieved when I woke up, I stretched my legs by walking round the compound.

My sister called me to inform me of her selection for the arise home farm she applied for and that news made my day. Hopefully, she'll get a grant yo help expand her farm and that will be the best thing for her so far. I prepared dinner and wrote my diary she was the last thing I did before I went to bed.
