The Diary Game: Early Morning Market Hustle And Kitchen Duties(23:03-2026)

Hello Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username . This morning, I was out to the market with mom to buy food items. I walked behind my mom while she led the way as we got to the market, she picked items while I held the bag. The market women were out so early and I silently prayed for God to bless them and their hustle before it takes a lot of sacrifice to be out there as early as 7am to grind and I believe most of them were out even before 7am. We finished shopping and mom chartered a Keke for me to go home with the food items while she went to her shop for business.

When I got home,.my brother was supposed to be waiting at the gate for me to pay the Keke man but I couldn't sight him so I requested for a little patience from the Keke rider so I could go in and get his money and he accepted. When I got in, my brother was still sleeping, I woke up and collected the money before asking him to join me outside so we could pack the food items inside together. I was instructed by my mom to make porridge yam so after I had arranged the food items in the kitchen, I began to prepare the meal. When it was ready, I dished and served everyone including myself and took my mom's share to the shop and she was surprised to see me come by that early.

I stayed in my mom's shop till mid afternoon before returning home to sleep. When I woke up, I picked up my material and read before going out for a meeting we had in my church for youth. I arrived the church and could see just two people and I wondered if that's the only turn up we will have for the meeting and my assumption turned out to be true. I went back home after the meeting and sat outside trying to process the new rules and regulations that has been set in the church.

I took my bath before writing my diary and mid way into it, I felt like snacking so I went out to a store and bought coca cola drink and biscuits. I was still writing my diary when my mom returned and I had to pause to assist her in the kitchen, I didn't even eat when the food was ready as I ran back here to complete my gist and I will be having dinner immediately I'm done.
