The diary game: How I almost fainted thinking have lost my marks (19-1-2026)

Hello everyone, my name is Purity Okon, but my username on steemit is @ purityy, I had meticulously planned to conquer the day, aiming to arrive at school by 6:30 AM to prepare for our assignment. However, my ambitious plans seemed to have evaporated into thin air, manifesting only in my dreams, despite sleeping late, my mind had been racing with thoughts of the assignment, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. I checked the time at 3:45 AM, deciding to catch a few more wards of sleep before waking up at 5 AM. But, as my village people would say, "the bed was just too comfortable.

The next thing I knew, I was transported to a dream world where I'd waked up early, prepared for school, and arrived at the lecturer's office with plenty of time to spare. Everything was perfect – I submitted the assignment peacefully and was so happy I make it to the office early and my lecturer was beaming with pride that at least he has one student that is serious with school. He even promised me extra mark on the spot! But, as euphoric as it was, it was just a dream. I woke up to the harsh reality of an 8 AM+ alarm clock, 8 missed calls from my colleagues, and the assignment looming over me like a dark cloud I couldn't muster the courage to call them back, knowing I was already running late.

I just quickly dash out of bedroom enter the bathroom, take my shower, rush into my room dres up, I almost forget to brush my teeth, but I did that, as I finally arrived at the lecturer's office at 10 AM, I was greeted by an eerie silence – the submission of the assignment had been rescheduled, and my lecturer was out of the office for the day. It was as if the universe was playing a cosmic joke on me. I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. Scrolling through my phone, I stumbled upon my colleague message, hey! The submission of assignment has been rescheduled the lecturer won't be in office today since all lecturers are having meeting. It was as if someone had poured a bucket of ice water on me – a day I would never forget.

Since the submission date was postponed, I called one of my colleague asking them where there are, and he direct me, getting there I saw them doing revision since our examination is at the corner, I joined them and the class was interactive class, everyone shared their ideas, we attempt some questions, we didn't even know that we spent much time because of how the was fun and educative, it was time for our noon class so we all left for the class, the class was 1 hour, 30 minutes, it was time to go, I wanted to trekked because I didn't have a penny on me, but a good Samaritan decide to carry me free because of how hot the was, he took me without demanding anything from me, I thank him, and was shocked, so good people still exist.

Got home, met my cousin preparing coconut rice, it seems she knows how hungry I was, the food looks so sumptuous, I couldn't wait for the water to dry when I dish mine and start digging on it, I was done eating to my satisfaction, drink a very chill water, after eating I remember I didn't take my bath and I was sweating, I entered the bathroom shower, dress on my home wear and take my nap, wake in the evening read my books till night time. This is how my day went, stay safe till our next episode.
