The Diary Game: Attending Lectures, Picking Up A Parcel And Visiting My Friend During Work Hours(08-01-2026)

Hello everyone, hope you're good? Welcome to my blog again. Our GST class holds every Thursday from 8am and I made it to the class yesterday before the stipulated time, an achievement worth celebrating! Other student had already arrived before me which shows how serious everyone has become this semester with studies. I found a spot in the front row to sit, took my selfie before interacting with friends.

When the lectures ended by 10am, I walked out of the hall as other students were already waiting.g to occupy the hall for their own lectures. I went to the Convo park to do some things on my portal before I went to pick up my parcel somewhere. The directions I got for the place wasn't really clear so I called @nhirmfon001 to ask if she's familiar with that axis and coincidentally, she was there for a work so I got a clear direction from her, picked her my parcel and went to meet her at her business place.

I got the shop where she was relocking someone's hair and I surprisingly saw a tailor she had referred to me who didn't do well as supposed and fortunately for me, the outfit was with me because I had planned to take it to her for amendment. I had chatted the tailor up that morning and she told me she won't be available in the shop but failed to disclose her location, I brought out the dress and handed to her and also informed her to iron it before bringing it to me. I couldn't believe my ears when she said that the dress was okay the way it was, despite apologizing the day she brought it for not ironing it.

I just maintained my calm because I knew that will be the first and the last time, I'll be patronizing her. I stayed for a while and discussed with @nhiemfon001 who was also kind enough to buy me snacks, I finished the snacks and asked her to get me a meal from chicken republic which wasn't too far from our location at the moment but she objected, saying she's not on cash and was out of data for transfer. I knew it was a format not to buy the meal for me so I decided to let it slide. She finished with the hair and got her pay, we got on the bus and headed back to our homes.

I was the first to alight from the bus, entered a Keke which will drop me at the junction that leads to my house and I was charged two hundred s d fifty naira whereas it used to be fifty naira, about four hundred percent increase. Well, long story cut short, I got home and ate dinner first before taking my bath.

I picked up my phone to check my socials for update and saw that the date for our beach party had been fixed for 11th January, 2026 which is this Sunday and amazingly, the number of people that has made payment had increased from 15-25. I was excited though I didn't want to attend anymore because that new year vibes had died down already but then, I had made payment already and it's a no refund policy. I informed my friend who had archived the group and I got busy with other things like making my post here before going to bed.
