The Diary Game: A Busy Day At Home And Shop(06/03/2026)
Hello everyone, Welcome to my blog. I am Roseline Odinaka popularly known on Steemit as @roselyynn. This morning when I work up, I knew I was going to have a hectic morning as I was the only one at home. My husband had gone out very early so as to meet up with his appointment with a client and he couldn't do his chores of sweeping the compound and today wasn't one of those days where the compound would look neat in the morning as if it has been swept already rather, it was filled with dirt and I was left with no choice than to sweep it. After sweeping the compound, I took a bucket and went out to fetch water. Our light was disconnected and for some days now we've not had water in our compound, I fetched enough for my use that morning knowing that my husband will do the rest when he returns in the evening.
When I finished with my chores at home, I took my bath, got dressed and left to the shop. I opened the shop when I arrived, swept and arranged it and got it ready for business. I stayed for more than two hours serving customers and when I was free, I looked for something to prepare for breakfast. I received a call notifying me of my approval for a grant I didn't apply for and I was wondering if it was real or scam. Well, I shoved it aside and continued my search for what to prepare and finally decided to boil yam and make a little egg sauce for breakfast.

buying fuel at the filling station
Some minutes before my meal was ready, my husband arrived the shop and opened his laundry store. Invited him to join me in having dinner when the meal was ready and an hour after we had our breakfast, he sent me to buy fuel from the filling station so he could put on the generator and work. I got the money and container and left to the fuel station, the pump attendant was busy with dales attending to those who were there before me and I patiently waited for my turn. I bought four litres of fuel and returned back to the shop.
In the evening towards my closing time, my food vendor came around though I didn't plan to patronize her, I had to when I realized she had Abacha, one of the meals I don't joke with. I bought a plate with two kpomo and ate, I prayed for my husband not to come around while I was eating it so I won't have to share, is that stinginess?? I later closed when the time was ripe, returned home and had a little rest after taking my bath and now, I'm here to tell you about my day.
