The Diary Game: Eating Junks To Work And Blackout 24/2/2026

Good evening friends. Since I was to go to my business place today, I couldn't wait for my wife for finish cooking, I was running late also, so I bought sprite and bread and ate it before leaving the house to go to the shop. Although my body doesn't like soda much because of ulcer, I forced myself to eat that because it's better than not even eating anything.

When I finished eating, I went to the shop, my sales representative wasn't at work though late, I opened the shop and when I saw her dropped off in a keke, I asked her why she had to come to work late, she told me she has been down even when I travelled. I wanted to be angry with her at first but as she told me she has been down, my heart soften, I know she needs a lot of rest especially now that she is preparing to take her JAMB examination.

I told her to go inside and sit, maybe sleep so that she can regain herself that I will make sure I do all I can to serve customers. The only thing that is hard here is me carrying bags of cements to customer's vehicles so that was how I was tired. Customers didn't come much today but the ones that came were quality. I didn't come with my motorcycle also so I trekked back home.

After I got to the house, I took the cash in the drawer and then used my wife's POS machine to send the money to my staff to buy drugs and take care of herself. Then I gave my wife the cash.

I remained in her shop and then when night as approaching, she told me to go and look for where to buy yam so that we will cook it in the night and eat when she closes from the shop. She wanted to use it with beans to make yam and beans porridge. I went and bought the yam then I came back and met her locking the shop.

We went back home together and the unfortunate happened, we did not have electricity, I was thinking there will be light so that we use hot plate to cook but it didn't seem like we will even have electric light this evening, we had to use our phone's torch to brighten the kitchen so that my wife can cook while I helped her with other things.

When the food was finally done, although very late and our son slept, I woke him up and gave the food to him then i ate with my wife. I am still hoping for electricity to be restored because the house will be hot if this rechargeable fan goes off this night. Anyways, good night my friends.
