Why not cultivate 'magic coconut' know its advantage

Coconut is one of the most popular sources of sweet and sweet water. Loves to drink coconut water from small and large. However, the production of coconut available in our country is very low. Bangladesh Agriculture Ministry is giving importance to the cultivation of low-grade hybrid coconut trees. These coconut trees will give about three times more fruit than our native plants. Only two to two and a half years of sapling can be found in this tree from coconut. It takes about 6-8 years to get coconut from our native plants.

Generally, two small varieties of coconut trees are cultivated in Bangladesh. One is the complete Hybrid Douba coconut and the other is imported from Vietnam 'developed and shorter' open-polyandered (OP) varieties. Among these, this variety collected from Vietnam is again a two-type, one is the Green Green Coconut and the other is Chan Boonu Coconut.

Two species give 150 coconuts a year. But it's not hybrid. It is learned from the sources of the Department of Agricultural Extension that an official of the Ministry of Agriculture has identified two varieties of coconut. One of the characteristics of the species is that it can be grown from mature coconut and the pot will be grown in two to two and a half years of sapling. The water of the holy coconut is very sweet and fragrant. 300 ml of water can be found from each tube.

Since the height of the tree species is 2 to 4 feet when the height of the tree starts to fall. So easy to put coconut of this tree is easy. It is very difficult to resist the attack of insect-spider in the domestic big trees. However, due to the shortage of these trees, the insects of this tree can be easily controlled. So every year many species of healthy and nutritious coconut can be found from this species.

'Asian Pacific Coconut Community' has been working on coconut development in Asia continent. Whose head office is in Indonesia. Currently, the organization of the development of coconut varieties of 18 countries including Bangladesh is working. For the fruit production throughout the year, the Ministry of Agriculture has taken a new project titled 'Nutrition Promotion Project, through yearly fruit production'. Under this project, it has already decided to plant this magic coconut plant at all corners of the country. Magic coconut plants have imported from Vietnam recently. Later, there are more than 75 thousand plants to be imported.
