RE: ADSactly Tech News - The Coming Age of Facial Recognition Technology
Certainly such a biometric system of facial recognition could very well be considered as a security element. Individuals who are already approaching or already in the designated and monitored area are detected and thus anyone who is not allowed to go there is quickly and effectively detected. This could also be a factor influencing the overall amount of downward security measures.
But I think like any face recognition technology is unquestionably facing promises and challenges. It will not be long before these technologies are so advanced that they will no longer encounter problems in terms of treatment of expressions, the fight against different angles and treatment of changes in appearance of the face with beards, hats, glasses sun and others.
Very objective comment. I agree with what you have stated here in regards to the technology and the way it is being developed. Whether it is good or bad, most likely it is another totalitarian tool we will be unable to prevent for the most part in first world countries so we will simply have to be aware of how the technology is being used and manage as best we can.
I totally agree..thank you for your valuable answer
