Brief notes

For instrumentalists and music producers ( beginners), Here I have come p with a simple methods of breaking down of some theories and introduction to some fundamental parts of music.

Note: This one is actually for the real starter and as we proceed in this series, we get a little advance in each post. Please be reminded that your contribution to this is highly welcome as we exchange ideas and suggestions.

In this and some other posts, i will be showing you some simple steps on having the fundamental knowledge of scales, ( major scales, minor scales, pentatonic scales) Chords ( major chords, minor chords, seventh and minor seventh chords)

For this introductory know how, i would love to only explain the very beginning of it all and let lose of terms such as Keys, Notes, Semi-tones/ half step, whole tone, scales, chords and i will be going in-depth on each of these in my next post.

KEYS

A musical key is a song's home The base where the whole movement of the song revolves around. The key tells you several things about a song: the sharps and flats used, the scale the song is based on, the scale note that serves as is the song's home note, and much more.

NOTES

Musical notes indicates the pitch and duration of each sound that makes up your music. A song is actually made of several notes within a scale (typically ) . You hit notes as you vary your pitch during the creation

SCALES

A scales is usually a sequence of small intervals between notes. Notes that sounds good together and spans octave as well. The common scales include major scales, minor scales, pentatonic scales and blues scales. There are tonesof other scales as well but for now we can only mention a few.

The Major Scales:

i have a simple codes for you to be able to get through a major scales of any key of your choice without hassle..
