America Turns 241 years old Today!

Happy 4th of July. Today we have the day to celebrate yet also reflect on this special day in American history. We are thankful of the sacrifices other Americans and allies have made in defense of our freedoms before today.

When you think of the concept our founding fathers framed in the Declaration of Independence they were risking everything, their lives in pursuit of their grand idea to form a more perfect union.

241 years later we find ourselves in a dangerous world with powerful nations in disagreements, where the world order that has held since WWII is now vulnerable because of the endless information at our finger tips making it tougher for governments to govern their citizens, who are equipped with all the information that the internet has to offer.

In these times of uncertainty we find comfort in the patriotism and love that we all share for our country today and the sacrifices leading up to this special holiday that got us where we are: with the freedom to live our lives, to freely pass throughout the country through the great states with ease, to worship the religion we choose, to live in the pursuit of happiness whichever way we see it fit to accomplish that.

That is what America is all about. That is what she stands for and I hope we all unify more in the coming months and years and get back to the great country our forefathers saw for us when they created and framed the Constitution! That is my two cents on this special holiday. Stay patriotic, stay American, and STAND for the flag when you hear that beautiful song we call the National Anthem.
