Anaconda

Anacondas are large, non-venomous snakes belonging to the genus Eunectes. They are native to South America, particularly thriving in the Amazon and Orinoco basins. Known for their size and strength, anacondas are among the heaviest and longest snakes in the world. The most famous species is the green anaconda (Eunectes murinus), which can grow up to 30 feet in length and weigh over 550 pounds.

Physical Characteristics:
Anacondas have thick, muscular bodies with a greenish-brown color and black oval spots. This coloration provides excellent camouflage in their natural habitat. They possess a broad head with eyes and nostrils positioned on top, allowing them to see and breathe while mostly submerged in water.
