Peter Robertson and Grant Lenaarts are co-founders of BlockZero, a think tank created to assist the public, companies and governments understand blockchain technology and develop strategies for its application. Peter is a web app developer and co-host of the CryptoGoss podcast, whose main interests are in privacy and security. Grant is a digital entrepreneur and software developer whose main interest is in the evolution of consumer society. Your host, Rafael Taylor, is a freelance journalist, contributor to ROAR Magazine and campaigner with Australians for Kurdistan, building solidarity networks with the Rojava Revolution. Based in Melbourne, he is a freethinker, transhumanist and libertarian socialist passionate about supporting new value-systems and social institutions. This episode includes an excellent Peter Hitchens impersonation, a debate on Yanis Varoufakis' critique of digital currencies, and brief primers on the blockchain, bitcoin, political economy, libertarian socialism and the Rojava Revolution.
