OUR BABY SHETLAND/FINNSHEEP LAMB IS GROWING UP
It was a busy day, but not too busy for photos!
A long, long time ago... (some months back) we had a little Shetland/Finnsheep ewe lamb born on our homestead, The @little-peppers named her "Blackberry" and spent some time cuddling with here earlier today. Enjoy the photos.

Are these primarily for wool? Will we be seeing sheep shearing and wool carding videos this Spring?
Wool-producing lawnmowers! Plus maybe milk and meat. We plan on using the wool too!

:)Wow everyone looks so healthy and happy!! That looks like amazing wool on those sheep too. Sheep skin rugs any day now! I remember watching sheep shearers work with hand clippers as s child - a fabulous art!

It's growing up so quickly. Are you going to be shearing the sheep for wool, or is it too late in the year to safely do that?
WE will shear them in the spring again.
