I am glad you decided to rescue a pet and give it a home. Years back I found a puppy on the street that I petted for a bit. It was small like your Mel. It followed me for almost one mile. I took him home. It died after three years, as it was old.
Aww that’s such a sweet story too. I’m so sorry about your lost, I imagine how hard it might be to get through that. You have provided very happy and loving 3 years for your dog and that’s amazing. Thank you for sharing your story!
