Dogs, dogs and more dogs - They can perform very important tasks for society.

Dogs are the most common pets in our homes and the reasons are varied but the most common are that they are faithful, affectionate friends and make a little more enjoyable each day.

Besides being excellent friends they are very nice.

Initially the dogs were domesticated to help in the hunts but they are very good to do other works and some of them are still practiced at present. Some tasks that these friends fulfill are the following:

Shepherd dogs or sheepdogs.

Shepherd dogs help humans manage flocks. When the dogs perform this activity they use their natural hunting instincts to corral the herd and thus facilitate its management. Usually in large herds several dogs are used to perform the work.

Police dog.

The work of police dogs is one of the best known and most important currently, its function is to support detection tasks and if necessary in defense and attack tasks.

Rescue dog.

Rescue dogs are used to locate people, usually trapped in debris or snow.

Service dog.

These dogs act as guides for people with visual disabilities.

There is no doubt that dogs will always be man's best friends.
