I think a raw food diet is the way to go for dogs and cats. By modelling a pets diet on what they would eat "in the wild" makes so much sense. Combined with the fact that commercial dog and cat food is basically a self regulated industry focused on profit and not animal health it is worth considering a raw food diet for your pet.
