Skeleton Bones
I'm surrounded by all these tall creatures
With hands so thin and boney features
They hold a smile
Like nothing matters
They have these visions
Of clear black waters
I'm afraid of what they'll do
Not afraid of what they are
Because I know that I too
Will become who they are
The way I see it, we all will be
A frozen skull with lifeless bones
With hollow eyes that cannot see
Never to feel the hand that's holding me
I'm not rushing
I'm in no hurry
My vision is not yet getting blurry
Skeleton boy with hands so cold
Not fit to grip, not even to hold
Surely I will face the night
With your blank face
Plain in sight
If it helps, then I'll be like you
I'll paint my face the way you do
So you won't feel sad behind that grin
And hide everything you feel within
