Good evening Steem world and I hope life is good.

Here's a quick breakdown of one of my favourite lightpainting creations.

One tripod, inverted on the table above the paper looking straight down. I set up the black paper in the middle and scattered some pens around for realism. I framed and focused for this element, then noted the settings before setting up tripod 2 with the camera rotation tool on in the back garden for the dome rotation and repeated the set up process.

Once happy I went back inside, turned the lights out and opened the shutter, this fired the flash through a socked and skirted beauty dish. I used a really low flash power of 1/128 as I needed to expose the dome tool correctly which was super bright. I had to use a 10 stop filter with the lens wide open for the dome rotation to expose correctly. I took the camera to tripod 2 in my back garden and refocused and zoomed out to 11mm. One dome span for every 30 degrees for the centerpiece all the way around the 360 degrees.

My dome tool is currently without leds and I must admit I really miss it. I shall put it all back together soon for some fresh adventures.
