In essence, Landscape Architecture is the science and art of planning and designing as well as the arrangement of the land, the preparation of natural and artificial elements through the application of science and culture.
Landscape Architecture has an insightful and active role in various projects ranging from large scale such as: regional design study, study of open space policy, design of industrial area footprint, recreational area design, public parks, to the design and consultation of projects on a more scale small like garden environment and garden house.
Landscape Architecture should be able to bridge the thoughts of Natural scientist and Land Developer Economist.Mampu apply and act utilize and utilize the potential and ability of the natural environment wisely for various needs of human environment.
1. Landscape Planning

Landscape planning specializes in large-scale project assessment studies to systematically evaluate vast areas of land for provision of use for future needs.
The observation of ecological and environmental issues is very sensitive to the activity. Interdisciplinary cooperation is a mutual requirement to arrive at a product of policy or land use. This is where we know the scope of work such as: regional landscape, urban landscape, rural landscape, watershed landscape, national parks, and so on.
