Traveling with Sarah - Vršac fortress

in #architecture2 years ago

I was in Budapest, a beautiful city, big, full of life. A lot can be seen, photographed, beautiful parks, historical sights. Really beautiful city, I took a lot of photos there. But in the end I always come back to Serbia, no one can beat our beautiful nature, rich history, beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes. We have beautiful cities, and in them amazing cuisine.

I returned from Budapest, walked again through my city. It's nice to be back home, but I love traveling, so one beautiful sunny day I decided to see what's new in Serbia. Not far from my town is the town of Vršac, I heard that they have a beautiful fortress located on a mountain, hearing where he was was enough for me to decide if I was going to go.

Of course, I immediately went to see her. I made an agreement with my friends, we met and set off. Nothing in the world can replace that experience of walking on a mountain, breathing fresh mountain air. Ahh yes and that incredible view, I had the feeling that I could see the whole world from this fortress, everything looked so small and beautiful, I couldn't look at myself. A beautiful landscape of land merging with the sea while I'm somewhere in the middle. Amazing :D

Apart from telling you about the nature and historical sights of Serbia, I could also tell you a little about the history of this fortress.
This fortress or tower is the symbol of the city of Vršac and the city of Vršac is also known for this tower. The tower was built in 1439, and it is believed that Đurađ Smederevac was responsible for the construction of this tower. He built it after the fall of the city of Smederevo, with the aim of protecting his possessions in the area of today's Vojvodina. The best-preserved of the entire fortification is the Donjon tower, 20m high, which has been completely restored today.

Everywhere just stones, walls, history, it's a bit boring, isn't it? Beautiful view, amazing history, but I got a little bored. I want nature, to take a walk in the Vršac mountains and breathe fresh mountain air, sit under a tree in the shade and admire nature. That's what I did, my friend the butterfly helped me with that, it's beautiful, friendly, I thought I was going to scare it, but it approached me by itself and showed me nature that is rarely seen.
