As many of my followers might know, I am a big fan of the Larimer trifecta (Steem,EOS,Bitshares). When I heard that Arisebank had teamed up with Bitshares I knew something big was gonna be just around the corner. Arise currently have an active ICO that you can take part in here:

So what is Arise?

AriseBank aims to become a next generation decentralized banking platform. They have been making some strong moves lately to make that vision into a reality. Recently AriseBank announced that they had begun the process of purchasing a 100 year old FDIC-Insured bank, as well as a 25-year old investment bank! These acquisition is what will enable AriseBank to offer their costumers debit/credit cards & aTM services. Unlike traditional banks Arise will never actually touch any of your money. They will be launching a whole bunch of different services like aCard, aEx, aTM, aIExchanger, aTransfer & AriseID. I will touch on two of their services in this post that I personally feel might have a big impact on the growth of the Bitshares platform as well.

AriseID

AriseID is a verification platform that leverages blockchain technology to be able to verify your identity without ever revealing who you are to anyone. Arise originally created this system to be able to comply with "Know your customer" (KYC) requirements. They will also be launching a mobile application with AriseID, with the goal being to make the verification and login processes as easy and intuitive as possible.

Arise's ID system is built on top of Bitshares usernames!

aCard

Arise will be launching their own physical VISA card, as well as supporting NFC payments trough their smartphone app. The service is marketed as a 'zero fee' service. According to their webpage fees will only be applicable to aTM withdrawals and international purchases. It will be possible for costumer to fuel their aCard's with any of more then 700 different cryptocurrencies like Bitshares. 2500 cards was made available online as a part of a limited first run offer for 199$. All of their initial cards are unfortunately already sold out.

Great post, buddy! Sums up the punchline pretty well :-)

what a nice post.. thanks for share. please upvote my blog too :)

Thank you for the awesome read! So good to know things are happening. We are moving forward!

Sounds really innovative. I love the idea of anonymous IDing and what a shame the cards have already all gone, being able to directly fund with crypto would be awesome.

hallo,
We have an interesting project on
money transfer, take a look please

Your project can't really be that interesting if you have time to come here and write this on my post. I am actually talking about a recent diversification into a totally different blockchain project in this blog post. When you take this into consideration Its very bad etiquette for you to come spam your own project here.
