New insect , bronze sculpture (FR/EN)
Il s'agit de la deuxième pièce dans la série des insectes montés dans une boîte entomologique.
Comme pour le premier ( https://busy.org/@alain-bellino/lucanus-cervus-bronze-sculpture-limited-edition-en-fr ) il a fallu faire un modèle qui a ensuite été moulé et fondu en bronze en plusieurs exemplaires (série limitée).
Voici les différents éléments du prototype:
This is the second coin in the series of insects mounted in an entomological box.
As for the first (https://busy.org/@alain-bellino/lucanus-cervus-bronze-sculpture-limited-edition-en-en) it was necessary to make a model which was then molded and melted in bronze in several copies (limited edition).
Here are the different elements of the prototype:
Les mêmes éléments avec la préparation du moule des antennes. Les ajourages dans les pièces sont bouchés à la plastiline pour faciliter l'opération.
The same elements with the preparation of the mold antennas. The perforations in the pieces are clogged with plastilcine to facilitate the operation.
Et le résultat après argenture, patine et montage dans une boîte entomologique:
And the result after silvering, patina and assembly in an entomological box:
Beautiful work, @alain-bellino ! The long, long antennaes really makes this creation very vivid in its insectoid beauty <3 It looks wonderful mounted in its box <3

Les deux en fait :-) j'ai deux métiers et ce sont deux passions, la restauration d'objets anciens en bronze et argent et la sculpture
