What you are seeing is an earlier project I did to investigate the potential behind using a photograph as a base for a digitally painted scene - inspired by the message within the Boondocks theme.

Originally, this image was a macro photo of a rock against the sky near the Columbia River. The majority of the picture is completely different. The black in the foreground is the rock, and the background has been smeared to look like clouds... and those mountains definitely weren't there! The whole render was done in GIMP, too! So nothing really special needed for this one!

Something interesting, though. The motivation to be the greatest human being I can be is dreived from the potential I see in others. As human beings we are all the same - so as I am cast aside I can see I am the one who must improve. What greater feat than to be cast from the presence of gods, but only to one day surpass them.
