💥Why I Am On A Supporting Steemit Artists Crusade (+ A Success Story From A Creative Commons Artist)💥
I was having a little think about why I have been on this LETS SUPPORT STEEMIT ARTIST crusade lately and it just hit me.
I have ALWAYS been surrounded by extremely creative people.
Artists that make the MOST amazing stuff.
From ladies who have the most incredible drawing skills to man-mates that have the sickest lyrics and create the coolest beats to being blown away by a friend's screen printing skills.
And I have ALWAYS been the one screaming how effing brilliant they are from the top of the effing mountains!
I cannot even begint to count how many times I have had serious discussions with friends on how I should become their manager.
Never happened though
So it makes COMPLETE sense that I am such a supporter of the art movement here on Steemit.
Yes, I am creative but in a different way.
I can't really put my finger on it how I can really explain it.
I know good talent when I see it.
I know when I see something special.
I may not have the artistic creative vocabulary to express the techniques or what I see.
But it's in the energy
or something
So yah, it makes SO MUCH sense that I am screaming from the top of my Steemit mountain the ways I see that we can support the Steemit artistes.
Art is our humanity being expressed.
Our emotions being told in visuals.
The stories that we hold in our heart are shown to the world.
The artists of our world are what make this world a better place with their shiz!
Cos what would the world be without art?
Okay to be very cliche here but I am going to throw a famous yet mysterious quote out on here.
The Earth without art is just eh!

Hi @ashleykalila Thank you so much for this. I am reasonably new here and have experienced a bit of lag or misunderstanding as to how to be recognized. One of my posts actually broke through nicely but it seems like everything else is kinda falling through the cracks amongst all of the stuff. Do you suggest I tag my posts with "creativecommons" as the first tag or do I post in "art" first still and then creative commons?

This really is a great idea we had talked about this concept for quite some time but never really formalized and and now it fits perfectly under the slothicorn umbrella! There are so many artists here probably a good chunk of graphics needed here could be sourced from within steemit, I love it!

Btw you can use steem plus and add a beneficiary so you don't have to send SBD manually, you can add a % to share with an author right before posting n.n Ibhave given it a try with a post lately to send 50% to @schoolforsdg4, the only problem is that steem-plus takes 5% as some kind of tip xD

It is ALL up to you.
I tend to give between 1 to 3 SBD (which translates to between 8 and 24 USD) :)
But i'd say whatever you feel comfortable giving!
