You can make these tendrils with pieces of fabric, they can be unicolor or printed, according to your preference.

We use our fabric that we like and we mark with a pencil, in my case use a coin but it is the size you like. The circles that we are marking are the petals of the flower. You can make the petals you want, I mark 8 which would be 4 for each flower.
