Watercolor painting of the Art And Sciencie museum in Valencia

hi Steemers! I share today the process of the painting and design I did the other day in the famous Calatrava Building in the city of Valencia. spain.

The museum is located in the Turia Gardens. Surrounded by beautiful nature and different pools and fountains. Gives the place a sense of peace and chill..

I started doing some thumbnail sketches first of the basic composition and design i was looking for.. I try this time to do a more modern/abstract design .. Not a classic plein air painting.

Once i draw the design i like into the big watercolor sketchboook, I started to put some warm tones first in the light areas of the composition.

Later I continue with more warm tones and also greens .. Leaving white space without paint for the brightest areas..

Finally I add the dark greens in the foreground for the trees . and the painting is done.
