Surprise! Happy Birthday!

Hey everybody, barely keeping it together on day 5 of trying to get my music posted on Dsound. I had no idea it would be that difficult with the 127.0.0.1 error!...Man... But hopefully that will be figured out shortly! But I have to move on with all the art I have so here's another painting to show you. This was my first painting with acrylic on canvas, that I did in 1995. It's About 1'5" H and 2" wide. This is just a photo of that canvas till I can grab it out of storage. I am currently trying to clean all my paintings up and take some good quality pictures of them so please bare with me on that :) But this is a very special painting to me and not just because it was my first. When I painted this I had no idea what I was painting...Like something was guiding my hand. After seeing some of my colored pencil drawings a co-worker of mine brought me a canvas, with some paints and simply told me, " you need to paint". I was like OK thanks...But what?? I just started painting...In the end it was a painting that symbolized my grandfathers death. He was an alcoholic in his early years and ended up suffering later in life till his liver finally shut down. I was his first grandson and very close with him. He died on my Birthday 9/25 when I was 14...9/25...Forever connected. I hope you enjoy this one :) I've come along way since this painting so please stay tuned. Peace, Love and Steem....
