Looking inward,
there always seems to be endless material with which to work, waiting to take my attention on a journey.
the idea that "all art is a recycling of other creations" is not only impossible to prove, it's also an idea that artists must strive to compete with.
What is "new?" The sense of freshness that comes from an experience that you've never had before.
- And, what is so special about an experience you've never had before?
It opens up new pathways in the mind.
New experiences allow our consciousness to expand.
We break down if confined - life is meant to explore.
So the artist tries their best to render the new, within harmony of the old - to create pathways to time .
Not just the future, but the past, and most of all - the present.
