Happy New Year to all!

Now I'm going to tell you about Carver Colman, also known as Nathaniel Dusk.

The action takes place on Earth 0, rebooted by Doctor Manhattan after a conversation with Superman.

JUNE 8, 1954

Carver Colman on the set of the last scene of the movie "The Adjournment." Due to the fact that the main character constantly forgets Nathaniel's last phrase, the studio has to reshoot the scene 13 times. Carver realizes that he has not been able to cope with 1 take for 2 months and puts it down to a headache.

JUNE 1, 1954

Colman reads a letter in which someone threatens to reveal his secret.

MARCH 19, 1952

The main character is awarded the Oscar for the 25th time at the Pantages Theater. This is the first ceremony that is shown on TV. Carver thanks his director, his genetic parents, and his adoptive mother, Charlotte Colman, for everything.

JUNE 8, 1954, 2:25 A.M.

Colman asked for a 15-minute break. The director suggests rescheduling everything for tomorrow, but the main character declares that they have to finish today.

6 hours after filming "The Adjournment," Carver went to celebrate with the studio heads.

He went to a bar 35 minutes ago.

10:00

Colman is waiting for his blackmailer. It turns out to be his foster mother. Charlotte says she is ready to defend the lies of the protagonist for a large fee, but he refuses and leaves.

4 HOURS AGO

IN THE MOVIE

Nate is lying on the floor, where he is being held at gunpoint by Policeman Murray. His girlfriend, Joyce, stands in front of the first one. Dusk asks if she loved him, or if it was just another lie. Joyce replied that her feelings were real, so she brought the main character a gift - a glass ball in the form of a globe. On every date, Nathaniel told the girl that when they were together, it was like being alone in the whole world. The gift is a symbol of the fact that Jois wanted this world to stay with Nate in her memory. Dusk throws a ball at Murray's face. The latter's pistol flies out of his hands.

CHRISTMAS 1928

Carver sits in a dark Philadelphia movie theater while his foster mother nearby dances for pennies for lustful men. When Charlotte brings one of these men to their home, Colman decides to head west.

DECEMBER 31, 1928

The main character arrives in Los Angeles with 17 dollars and spare clothes.

JANUARY 19, 1929

Carver has been delivering mail to Paramount Studios for 8 months. People never remembered his name.

FEBRUARY 14, 1929

Colman sees the head of the studio kissing a man. The supervisor drops the cigarette. 7 hours later, the pavilion burned to the ground. The studio claims that the reason was poor wiring. Because of this, the main character loses his job.

FEBRUARY 12, 1937

Carver is fired from the Dan Tan restaurant after he did not come to work due to an audition that did not take place.

On April 18, 1938, Colman was evicted. That same night, he sleeps on a Los Angeles street. At ten minutes to midnight, the main character is woken up by the police. Carver says he has nowhere to go, for which he receives a powerful blow to the head with a baton. When the police chase Colman away and leave, an unknown blue flash throws them away. The main character realizes that the cops are dead. Carver notices a naked blue man.

AUGUST 13, 1943

Above is the first film about Nathaniel Dusk called "Nothing Left to Lose." This film is the most successful at "Warner Bros.".

IN THE FILM

The main character tells his backstory.

APRIL 18, 1938

An unknown man introduces himself to Carver as John. Colman mistakes John for an angel, but John refutes his suspicions. They come to the cafe "Amaldo". The main character says that he doesn't have any money, but the blue guy, saying that he won't need it, asks the waitress to give them a table for two. Carver tries to figure out why she was looking at John normally. He explains that he has changed the frequency of the light around him. The waitress sees only the former incarnation of the blue guy. Colman orders a plate of chicken noodle soup.

APRIL 18, 1939

Meeting in the same cafe, the main character tells John that he was right. Carver got a role in the same scene with Gary Cooper in a movie called "The Westerner."

APRIL 18, 1938

Colman tells the guy about his problems.

APRIL 18, 1952

After the awarded the Oscar, Carver meets a blue guy at the same place. After telling John everything, Colman says goodbye to the guy and leaves for a party in his honor.

APRIL 18, 1954

When the main character meets the guy again in a cafe, he says that in a year Carver will not be in the world. Colman tries to figure out what this means, but John doesn't say anything and disappears. This thought breaks the main character. A second later, his friend returns and says that in fact he will not be in this world. John apologizes for not being a very good friend, and also says that the main character should stop being afraid of his gay feelings. These words help Carver get back on his feet.

CHRISTMAS 1928

Carver makes love to his friend named Bill. When his mother notices this, she throws Colman out of their apartment. Then the main character decides to go to Los Angeles.

APRIL 19th, 1954

Right before the release of "The Adjournment", Carver confesses to the public about his sexual orientation, as well as becoming a victim of his own mother's blackmail.

As a result, the studio abandons Colman and he becomes a recluse for several years. Having lost his home, he almost ended up on the street.

MID-1960s

The main character returns to acting and eventually wins the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the Fred Coe film A Thousand Clowns.

1973

Carver is instrumental in removing homosexuality from the American Psychiatric Association's handbook as a mental disorder.

Colman spends the next 40 years or more happily with his partner. He says on camera that his motto is: "Don't be afraid of what you feel." These words were accepted by activists all over the world.

2005

The main character dies. In memory of him, the former studio shows a marathon of films featuring Carver called "Nathaniel Dusk" every day of his birthday.
