Bioluminescence - The Cosmic Aquarium

From the vibrant greens of the jungle to the deep blues of the sea and beyond, the vast emptiness of space. I'm so excited to finally reveal one of my longest running projects - The Cosmic Aquarium. Not much to say about what inspired this one but a fascination with the complex beauty of the universe, and repeated viewings of Avatar (god I love that movie!).

There is still work that needs doing however...

GLOW PAINT! And lots of it. I've never used glow paint so this is going to be a bit of an experiment.

Since starting this project I've researched as much as I could on the subject hoping to find some kind of transparent luminescent paint that can be either painted or sprayed onto the canvas that allows the colour underneath to glow, rather than painting each part individually with different coloured glow paint. It would make it easier to produce copies to put up on my Etsy page that's for sure!

Like these stunning masterpieces!

If there are any artists out there who have used or know of such a paint your input would be forever appreciated.

Much love
