Divulging The Sense Of My Tattoo: Why I Decided To Have One?

TATTOO, as per my own description, is a permanent human body part mark or image that was intentionally written or drawn. When I was a kid, I feel a bit frightened whenever I saw someone having a tattoo, especially if it is visible or obvious or big or if the image is something to be scared of. But now, tattoo is a kind of art to express one's past experiences, stories, feelings/emotions, and realizations, commonly in Pinoy language termed as "HUGOT". Indeed, every tattoo mark or image of a person's body has its own hidden or expressed meanings.

As shown in my photo above, my tattoo is in my right arm. By the way, the photo was taken at Salagdoong Beach Resort in Siquijor. The image is a lion facing upward looking beyond the top since he is descending from the deep ocean, which is why it has blue shades surrounding its face, as per my tattoo image. The image was inspired by the design I had searched from the internet, but I cannot search the original image anymore. I had this tattoo in just one session so as to save my time going to the tattoo artist's place in Mandaue City - Clington Espinosa.

The lion image obviously shows my name, LEO - latin for lion, and since I am an Aquarian where I also love water, blue shades represent it in my tattoo. The lion is nearly the perfect animal that signifies me as a person, a protective one, a fighter and brave, yet a silent and loner guy. But above all, I have this genuine strength and courage as a lion that can conquer whatever challenges that had came and may come in my life. This is the main reason also of my steemit account name - LEODGREAT.
