Digital Art | Sariem, thoughtful happiness

Good morning, my dear readers and members of the #Steemit community. Happy Saturday to everyone, and I hope you are all doing well this weekend. Your friend Manuel is here to greet you once again after a long time, hehehe. The truth is that I have been quite absent from here due to work issues and several other things, but now I am back, eager to bring you a new illustration for my art blog. In this chaos, I wanted to create a somewhat simple illustration, a kind of freestyle work, but with a bit of feeling between happiness and melancholy. To do this, I drew a beautiful woman with reddish hair and glowing green eyes, whom I decided to name Sariem. As you can see, she is a bit pensive, but smiling at the same time... I hope you like it, and here I will show you a little of the drawing process:

Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad de #Steemit, feliz sábado para todos y espero que se encuentren super bien en este fin de semana, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel una vez mas luego de mucho tiempo jejejeje, la verdad estuve bastante ausente por aquí por cuestiones de trabajo y varias cosas más, pero ya estoy de vuelta, con las mejores ganas para traerles una nueva ilustración para mi blog de arte. En este caos quise realizar una ilustración un poco sencilla, una especie de obra a estilo libre, pero con un poco de sentimiento entre felicidad y melancolía, para ello dibuja a una linda mujer de cabello rojizo y mirada verde incandescente a la cual decidí llamar por el nombre de Sariem, la cual como podrán apreciar se encuentra un poco pensativa, pero sonriente al mismo tiempo…espero les guste y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso del dibujo:

In this case, I started my sketch by drawing the girl Sariem as if she were resting her face on her right hand, looking very thoughtful and distant. I wanted to give this character a fairly youthful appearance, around 20 years old at most, with long hair tied back in a bun or ponytail behind her head. Once I finished the sketch, I moved on to the next step, which was the coloring process. In this case, I always like to start with the skin. For her, I used reddish tones as a base, and with the help of an airbrush and watercolors, I began to build the basic texture of the skin, the lights, shadows, and so on.

En este caso comencé con mi boceto dibujando a la chica Sariem como si estuviese apoyando su rostro sobre su mano derecha, esto mientras se muestra muy pensativa y distante, en este caso quise darle a este personaje una apariencia bastante juvenil, como de unos 20 años como mucho, con una cabellera larga pero recogida con un moño o cola de caballo detrás de su cabeza. Una vez logre finalizar el boceto me pase al siguiente apartado que seria el proceso de coloreado, en este caso siempre me ha gustado comenzar por la piel, para ella use unos tonos rojizos como base, y con ayuda del pincel aerógrafo y la acuarela comencé a construir la textura básica de la piel, las luces, sombras y demás.

For the eyes, as I mentioned before, my idea was for Sariem to convey a somewhat abstract, lost, and thoughtful gaze. To achieve this, I worked on the eyes so that they looked slightly narrowed with slightly drooping eyelids. For this, I used grays for the base, and to create the iris and inner pupil, I used kiwi green and other bright green tones. For the mouth, my idea was to sketch a slight smile to convey that she is remembering something that made her smile. In this case, I used more dark red tones. For the hair, I decided to use scarlet red tones to create a long, straight hairstyle, but in this case, the hair would be tied back in a kind of ponytail.

Para el apartado de los ojos como les comente antes mi idea era que Sariem transmitiera una mirada un tanto abstraída, perdida y pensativa, y para lograr esto trabaje los ojos de modo que se viera un poco entrecerrados con parpados un poco caídos, para esto use grises para la base, y para crear el iris y la pupila interna use tonos verde kiwi y otros verdes brillante; también para la boca mi idea era esbozar una leve sonrisa, esto para transmitir que se encuentra recordando algo que la hizo sonreír, en este caso use más tonos rojos oscuros. En el caso del cabello decidí usar unos tonos rojo escarlata par crear un peinado liso y largo, pero en este caso ese cabello estaría recogido en una especie de coleta.

In the third part of the painting process, I focused on creating a nice outfit for Sariem. In this case, I used slightly paler shades of green to create a slightly elegant blouse made of long, but slightly wavy. For this, I used my watercolor brush, as it gives me a better texture. I made fairly random strokes and used this same brush to blend and mix each of the colors until I achieved the texture I wanted.

En la 3ra parte del proceso de pintado me ocupe en crearle a Sariem un buen atuendo, en este caso use tonos verdes un poco mas pálidos para crearle una blusa de tela un poco elegante de mantas largas, pero un poco ondulada, para esto use mi pincel de acuarela ya que me da una mejor textura, realice trazos bastante aleatorios y aproveche este mismo pincel para difuminar y mezclar cada uno de los colores hasta que logre la textura que yo deseaba.
