I am not sure what to write about today's office art. It is a mix of emotions and tendencies and techniques I use to express them.
Partly figurative, partly landscape, partly surreal, illusions and double images they all play. Is it a scene between a couple that kisses during a sunset and looking over a small village? Or are the mountains that kiss as they meet under the sunset? Or maybe it's not a sun but a bird that flies over the fields and a small village?
Classic me, I didn't surprise myself on my drawing means... pens and highlighters... am I becoming a bore? Maybe am just going through this phase. We'll see.
Below a few photos from the process
I love the colors!
Thank you @sweetie!
I see lovers kissing as their town and countryside succumbs to a vicious volcanic eruption!....
Very passionate 😊😉 I like that! Thanks
Wonderful art great sharing i like it and resteemed.
Thank you very much!!
My pleasure.
I really love your work, have you tried oil paint before? I would love to see one of your drawings on canvas :)
Thank you very much! I m mostly painting on canvas but I use acrylics 😊
I have worked with both and they both have their ups and downs.
Acrylics dry way faster, but with oil you can keep messing around.
Is there a place/website where I could buy your artwork?
Great post . Check out mine if you have time !:)
Wow, I wish I could draw and paint like that.
That's very sweet @team101 😘
Boring hell no this is brilliant I see the couple kissing over the village with the sunset in the back. How long did it take you to draw this there is a lot of detail? Your choice of colour scheme brings it to life though. You are very talented don't under estimate your gift; you must push it to its true potential. I don't have a office but if I did I wish I had a piece like this hanging. Great post 🙏
What a flattering comment 😊 Thank you so much! It took me around 3 hours gross but I was multitasking during that time. My office artworks are usually performed quite fast...
I would have guessed like 2 weeks; your very talented keep going. Like when your about to start where do you get your ideas from or what inspires you?? Like your pieces remind me of like Andy Warhol for some reason!🙏
Maybe because the colors are a bit poppy... what inspires me? To be honest when I begin to paint on a canvas I may have or may not have an idea of what I want to do, but when it comes to office art I never know what it will look like in the end. I let the initial scene develop and then I start making concious choises. My inspiration comes mosy likely from the last thing that affected my emotion. It may be a song I heard earlier, a discussion with a colleague, a memory that came back, a dream... I don't really know exactly 😐
That's awesome most good, creative, an mind blowing art is created from emotions like that's the essence of it all. To find something deep inside of you, and bring certain visions to reality that's a gift. A lot of people have lost the sense of originality to just build from feelings. That's good you got that 🙏do you ever use pastel?
What a wonderful comment, thank you so much! To be honest I haven't tried pastels since I was 10. Maybe because I sucked at it.. 😂
You think for one of your next pieces you could use pastel for me. I think those surreal pictures you get from the pastel would be dope. Plus you never know it could come out sick 🙏🙏
Yeap you tempted me!! I'll try soon but I don't expect much though and when I post my pastel work and everyone unfollows me I'll expect you to stick around lol!
-:) very nice
Many thanks!!
You have so many great drawings that really express the creativity of your mind. That's one thing I love about art. It doesn't only show the physical objects, but also the mental objects in our mind such as feeling, personality, emotion, all into one canvas for all to see :)
That's what I love about art too...thank you very much @cryptodata for your kind words!
This is a good metaphor!
Τhank you @hebro!
