Being Steel, an interactive story/game part 7
Episode seven already in this interactive story/game based on my paintings.
After HF20 I've taken this a bit slower, but the players kept on playing: thank you @deemarshall, @kaelci, @veryspider, @niko3d and @felt.buzz for keeping on playing!
And yes, anybody, everybody is free to play along in this interactive story/game, based on paintings of mine. This is how you play along: read the story and choose an option on how you think the story should continue in a comment. You may add three words that come to your mind in the comment - I try to include as much as possible in the next episode. Feel free to upvote and/or resteem: it's much appreciated! Stay tuned for the next episode!

On the previous episode...
Option 1 (challenge the troll to a fistfight) got no votes,
Option 2 (challenge the troll to a duel with your own weapons) got one vote,
Option 3 (cowardly get out of the duel) got no votes,
Option 4 (kiss the troll's wife again) got one vote,
and yes, Option 5 (Kiss the troll himself) got three votes!
The five players gave me these words, which I will try to include in today's episode (appearing in bold): yippee ki yay, bullseye, balls, botched, iridescent, frilly, fetid, slapstick, curse, ignore, lips and flee.
My name's Steel and I've been on the craziest adventure ever. I had to flee my hometown for a crime I committed but can't remember. I've been picked up by a travelling freak-show - and here I fell in love with a Jester. Her husband, a Troll, caught us kissing. Well, I should say the troll caught me kissing her, all she was doing was to try and warn me to leave the freakshow.
Sometimes I swear I feel like I'm not in control of my decisions and some foreign entities are playing around with my free will.
Anyway, here I was, confronted with a fetid troll, challenging me to a duel. I considered my options: in a fistfight I would get my ass wiped before I could say Yippee Ki Yay. I also doubted the Troll would accept that the duel be decided by best two out of three games of Yahtzee, and to flee by hop-skip-jumping my way out of the conundrum was out of the question.
The answer was the only one I could think of. It was Love. I could only vanquish this Troll with pure iridescent Love! I took a deep breath. I cursed the gods that had put me in this situation, leaped up to the Troll's chest shouting AMAZING BALLS TO THE WALLS FOR THE WIN!!!! I pressed my lips firmly on the Troll's lips and suckered and puckered him with all my might, all the while trying to ignore the disgusting stench and foul taste.
I had hit bullseye.
But I had never expected the Troll would respond so enthousiastic to my move. After a few seconds of confusion, he passionately reciprocated my kiss and gave me a bearhug that was so tight I couldn't breathe anymore.
So I was slowly smothered to death by the kiss of a Troll, in the marshes along the coastline of my hometown. The last thing I saw, out of the corner of my eye, was the frilly around the heavenly derriere of my beloved Jester. I died.
And then the Troll turned to stone in the first morning light and exploded in a gazillion pieces!
I could breathe again! I lived!
Now choose an option:
Option 1: Run around with joy! and celebrate! You have escaped death! Again! Woo-hoo, life is great and amazing!
Option 2: Be still and contemplate. Kneel between the pieces of rock and mourn the fact that they were once a living Troll that truly loved you.
Option 3: Find the best bits of recognizable rock, maybe you can sell these for a fortune!
Choose your option in a comment! The option with the most votes is how the story continues (alongside one of my paintings) and feel free to include up to three words with your choice. Next episode should/could come in 48 hours of this post. It may be sooner or later, depending on how much time I can find. Have fun!
I failed to include these words: botched and slapstick, sorry!
I'm also struggling between 2 and 3...... but....... I'm going to go with Option #3, please! :) FORTUNE!
With the words... clamorous, ruby, banana pie :D
Cool, to FORTUNE! :)
Thanks!
Option 1, please.
My words are: happy, boisterous, adventurous :)
First vote for option 1, thanks!
i am torn between option 2 (FOR ROMANCE! AND DRAMA!) and option 3 (FOR RICHES!!!! RICHES OF THE RICH!!!!)
.... aaaaaaaaaaaah
....
option 3, please :D
and words: succulent, bossy, sigh
Haha, options, options!
Without wanting to think too far ahead, #3 could be fun in the long run.
Though anything can and probably will happen along the way :D
Thanks for playing!
lol... dang, what a twist...
well, if your fate is being twisted by some outer dimensional beings commenting on the blockchain... you might as well try to grab what you can carry and make a run for the riches...
How bout Option 3?
My 3 words are: unexcused, absence, sorry
Haha, excellent reasoning! Thanks!
