Watercolor sketch of poppy
For most nations, this flower is associated with the symbolism of sleep and death; In Greek mythology, poppy is an attribute of the god of sleep. In many legends, poppy is often associated with innocently shed blood.
Such terrible values do not make poppy less beautiful. It is really charming.
And the poppy field is really a breathtaking view.
That's why I decided to draw this illustration.
The illustration is made in the format less than a5.
I decided to cut the sheet for a more elongated format. I think the result was pretty.
It took me about 30 minutes.
