Great drawing and appreciate the process you shared with us, it is always useful to get some insight into the artist's mind. This picture reminds me of a fractal I posted in the past:

I see what you mean with that fractal. It looks like a cluster of eyeballs, it reminds me of the descriptions of Yog-Sothoth.
