Brief history of the eye line
Cosmetic products are the ones that can easily change our expression and radiance. Only a slight mark or some new color are able to give a whole new definition to our face and since ancient times people have tried to obey the rituals of beauty.
One of the products with the greatest history of bats unsecured is the eye line that inspires these lines. It appears for the first time in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia - the places that have made this tool of beauty so popular all over the world.
Ancient Egypt
About 12,000 years ago, the eye line was used by men and women and displayed a high social status. It is not only used to give a beautiful finish to the eyes, but also to protect them from wrinkles that very easily formed in living conditions then - the sun, the heat and the desert wind were true enemies of youth. In addition, it was believed that the eye line could keep you from the bad looks of the envious. In the black owl, which stirred the Egyptians, they put a little salt in order to avoid unwanted bacterial infections of the eyes. With the popularization of the eyeliner, it also began to be used by the lower classes, and when the Roman Empire conquered Egypt, the eyeliner was already a symbol of the Egyptians that they were strongly associated with their culture, religion and gods. After the fall of the Egyptian Empire, the use of an eyeliner became less and less until the Greek and Roman Empire ruled. The return of the product to Europe, as a real hit for women, happened after the Renaissance.
20s of the 20th century
In the 20s of the 20th century, women dropped Victorian clothes and turned their eyes to the glamorous Hollywood, music, theatrical, and film industry. Then was the time when cosmetic companies began to make new makeup and revive old ones. In 1922, when the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamen was opened, the world looked again at the eye line, and it quickly became the most fashionable and desirable busty product.
And so to this day, when the eye line is one of the most revered boutiques of our time, and is offered in countless variations, shapes and colors. We wonder how it will change after another 100-200 years ... only time will show!
