Sisters Art Lab - A whole month of Picasso appreciation - Summary Post - April - Artworks
Hello my artful sisters ( and brothers of course)
We had dedicated the whole month of April to the great artist Pablo Picasso as it is his 45th death anniversary this month.
In the first week we studied his blue and rose period and the second week we moved to a later period the Cubism which he initiated together with fellow artist Georges Braques. The third week we moved to the next of his periods that is his Surrealist phase. The last week of the month we wanted to produce an artwork in the style of Picasso and also look into the late years of his work.
It was an amazing journey to dive into his genius and study his life and all the different styles he went through or initiated/invented.
Therefore we want to show the pallet of beautiful works that were produced by our members this month.
If this inspires you please come and join in on the fun and get featured with your own work in the summary post for every month.
Susanne submitted so many beautiful paintings this month, that I wish she would print on cards for sale, they are THAT amazing!
Lila made some wonderful contributions as well this month. Seems like Picasso had us all inspired!
I struggled with serious lack of time this month and didn't submit anything worthwhile.
Because again Susanne did it better ;)
But there is more to come
We are very satisfied with how this month played out and can't wait for the next theme during the month of May.
