Wish You Were Here
This collage reminds me of when blue and green screens were first used in film making. The technique is actually called Chroma Key and was introduced in the 1930's. I have a book of old "girlie" magazine covers like Beauty Parade and Eyeful, so I cut out one of the ladies to use as my beach babe.
The background is an image of land forming in the ocean cut out from an old encyclopedia. I found the ball from an instruction manual for airbrushing that was published in the 1980's. I did the lettering on a shipping label and stuck them on.
