My best motivation tips I can give you guys for getting over being unmotivated is actually to try something new and experiment with different art styles or mediums or even learn a new skill altogether. I really believe that the first thing that you can do to help overcome being unmotivated is to figure out why are you are motivated in the first place. I believe that there are three big reasons why you might be feeling unmotivated.

c1.jpg

The first one is you might be feeling unconfident, you don't feel good enough with your art and if you are feeling unconfident you're not really gonna feel motivated to do something that you don't feel confident about. The second one is you don't have any real urge to create there's no real inspiration there. You don't feel excited and it's just not really feeling like a big priority in your life right now. The third reason why you might be motivated is that you're simply not happy with your art, you're not happy with what you're creating. You have no real like identity or style or maybe you just don't know what mediums you want to use and you just might be unmotivated because you have no real direction of what you want your art to go.

Let's go through some common ways to actually solve those issues that I just spoke about. The first one I said was no confidence and tip 1 is don't compare yourself to other artists. I think this is one of the main reasons people feel unconfident or down on themselves or that they're not good enough is because they go on social media and they compare themselves to other artists that they look up to. You should draw positive inspiration from that and aim to be where they are not put yourself down.

Just practice and use that as motivation and keep looking at those artists and their artwork that you want to strive towards. Tip two is to remember that everybody goes through this every artist is gonna go through periods where they don't feel particularly confident they don't really feel like they're good enough. I think it's kind of comforting knowing that every artist goes for it and you're not alone but the important thing is to not let it hold you back just go and create art anyway.

Tip three is really thinking logically about how good it will feel when you start to see your improvement when you practice and then you look back on your art and you see how much you've improved. That's gonna make you feel happy and motivated. One thing that you need to accept is when you're creating there are going to mistakes but mistakes aren't a bad thing. Learn from your mistake. The second reason for being motivated was having no urgency to create no real inspiration and my tip to overcoming this would be set yourself goals that actually really excite you. Set yourself goals that you know really gonna excite you and get you in the mood to create.

You're very complicated to draw ahaha

I'm certain you can handle it, without any problems:)

Wow what a handsome art! How could you do this ?
It's look like a photography not a art. I always like your art that really so sharp and clear and your art system.
Thanks to share your excellent art.

Who else can motivate me better than Vaan K. Art... I guess no one. Your achievements thus far is what's giving me the confidence and boldness to take up my pen and do some arts. Though I still have a lot to learn from you, but you've touched my life in ways you never thought possible. Right now am gonna make a portrait, and hope to complete it today. Thanks my mentor

Thank you @whizart I saw your recent portrait. You have an amazing skill. Keep it up! :) Hope to see your finished work soon.

I'll definitely notify you when it's completed... Though I fear that it may not be seen by many, and may not get upvotes due to my very low steem power

Don't give up. You will be successful soon!

Thanks sir. I guess I also need to buy some steem power to give my post better publicity

So wise advice of getting over being unmotivated. I have that problems too. Thank you very much @vaansteam !!

The art of drawing never ceases to amaze me. As someone who is unfortunately not skilled in this craft, I marvel at your brilliant skills. What I find especially wonderful is that you post different stages of your image, which helps the reader to get a better understanding of the specific drawing techniques and how the different effects come into play. Simply just wonderful. I'm looking forward to reading more drawing stories from you. Followed!

Thank you @samsonite18654 I'll try my best to help the reader follow along. I appreciate it :)

Beautifully done! Your work is really inspiring .. setting higher benchmark standards with every piece.. :)
Simply loved it!

Thank you I'm glad you love it! :)

The first one I said was no confidence and tip 1 is don't compare yourself to other artists.

Well said. Confidence comes when we start to see others like us. Successful people are always full of confidence.
Nice inspirational post with a great teaching.

Don't compare yourself to others. we will shine when it's time. :)

One thing annoying for artists is when people ever comment on a good piece they have taken time to work on as many always say " oh you must have been born lucky" like completely forgetting that these artists have been practicing for years!

It does take years of practice. Just like everything in life. In order to succeed we have to improve upon it. :)

I was totally fascinated by your skills. Your really good. Thanks for sharing @vaansteam

Thank you :)

Perfect!! I'm really excited to see your works, they're great. I congratulate you and applaud, Many kisses for you: D

Thank you, you're too sweet. Hope you have a great weekend!
